A Legacy of Strength and Vision

Since the 1930s, the Jabotinsky movement has been a bold force in Canada, rooted in the global Zionist Revisionist Organization. Fueled by a vision of a secure and sovereign Jewish homeland, the movement championed a proactive, unapologetic stance on Jewish self-determination in the ancestral and indigenous homeland of the Jewish people, Israel.

Jabotinsky’s Call

Amid rising threats in Europe, Jabotinsky’s urgent call for Jewish self-rescue was prophetic: “Liquidate the exile before it liquidates you.” His message resonated with Jews from all walks of life—traditional, religious, and secular—rallying them to the cause.

The Jabotinsky
Movement in Canada

The movement’s impact extended to supporting the Betar youth in Canada, instilling values of Jewish pride, resilience, and the unyielding right to the entirety of Eretz Yisrael. The arrival of Holocaust survivors in the 1950s infused new energy into the ranks, strengthening the movement’s presence.
As history evolved, so did the movement’s identity. From the Zionist Revisionist Organization to the Herut Movement, and now Likud Canada.

A New Generation

In Canada, this legacy thrives through active engagement with the Canadian Zionist Federation and its young leadership UNITÉ | Ahdut Israel initiative in Quebec, Unité, United (Likud)—a new generation embracing the call for a strong, dynamic Jewish future.
